Honestly working over the road the last 10 years , this has been the only place that has come to making me feel like I am at home, Alex has been amazing and checks on me daily, the people are friendly and always invite you to come watch games or play music under there outdoor area I can honestly say if you are working within 30-45 mins of here you definitely would love it here
Not too many places to stay in this area, but I’m glad I found this place! The owners here are so down to earth & welcoming. They really enjoy having people here & you can tell they really enjoy sharing their awesome place with everyone! The community area here was amazing with their personal touches everywhere. I’m glad I found this hidden gem, and can’t wait to go back and visit again! Thank yall for such great hospitality!
Stayed in a house owned by these people for several months and it was probably the best experience I’ve ever had with a host and I travel for work 10 months out of the year and stay at different properties all over the country. Super accomodating, nice, and friendly people and even keeps the kind of coffee I like always stocked up. I highly recommend this or any other property run by these people, I’d give them 6 stars if it would let me.
The owners at Vara Guest House made our visit so perfect. The cabin we rented was beautiful. We needed a peaceful, quiet place to relax and have some quiet, romantic time together. Everything we needed was right there. The hosts were hospitable and thoughtful and very accommodating. I would recommend Vara Guest House to anyone who needs a lovely place to escape while in the West Texas area. You will not be disappointed.
We were on a long roadtrip and this place was the only business open on a Sunday. The owner was very welcoming and let us use their bathroom. The place is super pretty and clean. If we were looking for a place to stay in the area we would stay here.
Stayed at this house with my coworker home was great stayed there for 3.5 months price for room was great Louis would keep house and rooms clean. He was a great person to talk to and I consider him a friend next job that is in the area I will stay there again thank you for your hospitality and I will be a reoccurring customer and I have told other coworkers at their in that area that’s the place to stay thank you 🙏
Where do I start, it was a snow storm of historic portions in the area and the Vara guest house was on radar. Alex and Cyndi are great hosts, very kind and welcoming. Vary Guest House is well maintained and user friendly. I felt so at home in the main house and had a comfortable stay in one of the RVs. It was clean and had everything I needed. They hosted a awesome impromptu New Years Eve get together and it will last forever in memory. Great time!
Weekend full of wedding events. We stayed (along with others in the wedding party) at Vara House in the Little Farm House. We ended up having 2 adults and 2 small children (due to multiple changes) and it was perfect. Enough space for the little ones to move around and everyone still get ready. The owners were very friendly and worked hard to accommodate all our needs.
The cabin was very clean, cute, and comfortable. The host could not have been more helpful and cordial. I truly felt welcomed, and I would not hesitate to return. I would love to stay at the owners’ cabins in Ruidoso, NM on another trip.
My husband and I stay was awesome!!! We stayed in the main house in the Master Suite. Super clean, relaxing, and got lots for good rest. Alex and Cindi were wonderful and very accommodating, we also enjoyed sitting outside in their beautiful yard for drinks in the evenings. Thanks for the great stay!!
I have been a guest for over a year now. I am extremely satisfied with my experience. Alex has been accommodating and makes you feel welcome. I find it quiet and comfortable. I would recommend Vara Guest House to anyone.
I travel a lot for business but this has to be one of the best places I’ve stayed. Alex is very attentive and helpful. The room had all the amenities I needed, and more. Room was clean, everything worked, and any questions were answered very promptly. I would love to stay there again if I am in the area. Awesome job Alex!
